Who Can Master Reiki / Become a Reiki Master
ReikiChik Learning Reiki does not require huge intellectual capacity. Nor does it require the ability to meditate. And it certainly does not take years and years, despite what many will tell you. Remember, there is a vested interest on the part of some of those who teach Reiki to make it seem difficult to master Reiki. That way they can charge more!  But in reality, You can master Reiki quickly, with a little focus and concentration.
The power to master Reiki comes from within – we all have the qualities within to master Reiki, and to become a Reiki Master. And this is according to the founder of Reiki, Dr. Mikao Usui. Having said that – Reiki can be very powerful for those who embrace it!

chakratuning Ancient healers knew that there is more to the body than what can be seen. They recognized the wholeness of spirit, mind, emotions and the body. They knew that healing was a three-way agreement, between the god or goddess within us all, the healer and the patient. Healing is an active election. This is very different to modern medicine. Missing in modern medicine are the concepts of participation, partnership, respect, and wholeness.The traditions of the ancient healers are incorporated into Reiki and if you master Reiki you can honor these traditions. Today, there are many programs of Reiki, the two most popular of which can be classified as Traditional Japanese Reiki and Western Reiki.

The main systems within Traditional Japanese Reiki are Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai, Reido Reiki Gakkai, Komyo Reiki Kai, and Jikiden Raiki. Western or Occidental Reiki was developed by Hawayo Takata.The major difference between this and the more traditional methods is the incorporation of a defined set of hand patterns for the treatment of internal ailments, instead of Reiki Ho (the intuitive skill of simply knowing where to place the hands).

Western Reiki is more formalized in terms of rising to higher levels of attunement and puts more emphasis on treating and healing ailments.Because Western Reiki is more formalized and defined, it is easier to learn, and has a more open process by which you can master Reiki and become a Reiki master.

FIND OUT HOW YOU CAN BECOME A REIKI MASTER

Step 1 – Master Reiki -First Degree

This covers the basics of theory and procedure. Generally the student receives four attunements, and learns hand placements that are believed to be most important in a whole body treatment. The student acquired the skills to treat himself and others with Reiki. This is the first step if you wish to master Reiki and advance towards becoming a Reiki Master.

Step 2 – Master Reiki -Second Degree

At this level, the student is taught the use of the three symbols that enhance the strength and the distance over which Reiki treatments can be achieved. The student receives another attunement, increasing the capacity for the student to use Reiki. This additional attunement is also believed to empower the use of the symbols, so the student can treat people without being physically present.

Step 3 – Master Reiki -Third Degree (Reiki Master)

The third degree teaches another master-level symbol and receives one or more attunements. Despite what some will say, this level has been achieved by some in as little as a day. The student has succeeded in their quest to master Reiki and is now a Reiki Master. The new Reiki Master has the ability to attune others and to teach all three degrees of Reiki.

Master Reiki over the Internet

Today, Reiki courses can be taken over the internet, with even attunements taking place using web conferencing or web casts. Taught by masters who have the strong ability to attune remotely, this makes it easier than ever to master Reiki and become a Reiki Master. Many of these courses offer full certification.

Students who master Reiki in this way and become Reiki Masters (in a little as 48 hours) are fully certified to teach Reiki and treat patients in person or remotely.
