Why Chakra Balancing of Each of the Seven Chakras Is So Important

Chakra Balancing and the Seven Chakras

If you think of spinning energy wheels, you can visualize the seven Chakras. They have a hub, or center, like a wheel and revolve around it. Many psychics have visualized them, and describe vibrant colors. There are many Chakras in the body, but generally it is believed that there are seven major ones, aligned with the spine, stretching from the base of the spine to the crown of the head.

The seven of them revolve at different rates. Along the spine, the seven Chakras rotate at different speeds – the fastest at the top and the slowest at the base of the spine. Unique gemstones and unique vibrant colors are associated with each. For more information on the colors and gemstones visit Chakras.

The Universal Life Force is slowed down if the Chakra balancing is not optimal, or if the energy flowing through them is blocked. Each has an optimal speed, so energy can either be flowing too quickly or too slowly. So you can see that both can have a negative impact. One can literally short-circuit with too much energy, and too little can lead to illness or disease.

You can see why Chakra balancing is so relevant. As a race, humans tend to react to unpleasantness by impeding our feelings, which can cause out of balance energy flow. If each is balanced and rotating correctly then all are harnessing and metabolizing the particular energies they are associated with from the Universal Life Force.

We can see that the Chakras are the funnels for life energy, allowing energy to flow into and out of our Aura. Positive development of our self consciousness and vitalization of the body are achieved.Use of gemstones and crystals is normal for balancing. The science involved is called the piezoelectric effect, similar to quartz watches for example. When imbalances occur, use of crystals and gemstones to rebalance the Chakric centers can re-optimize the energy flow through the body, leading to a return to health, or the disappearance of an ailment.

The seven Chakras follow the spine, with three higher than the heart and three lower than the heart itself. Those above the heart tend to control intellect and spirituality. Human needs and emotions are controlled by the three underneath the heart. The heart reconciles the spirit with the flesh.

In future articles we will explore each of the seven Chakras and the benefits of Chakra balancing for each in more detail.
